Email Unsubscribe & Anti-Spam Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
1. Permission-Based Email Policy (SendGrid / CAN-SPAM / CASL / GDPR)
Mellott.US sends emails via Twilio SendGrid only to verified account holders and recipients who have affirmatively opted in. We strictly prohibit the use of purchased, rented, scraped, or third-party harvested email lists.
All outbound messages authenticate domain origin via SPF, DKIM (2048-bit RSA), and DMARC enforcement on mellott.us, include accurate From and Reply-To headers, non-deceptive subject lines, and a RFC 8058 List-Unsubscribe-Post one-click opt-out mechanism.
2. Categories of Emails Sent by Mellott.US
- Mandatory Transactional & Security Emails: Email verification codes, two-factor authentication (2FA) backup alerts, password reset links, new device sign-in notifications, SSL/TLS certificate expiration warnings, and privacy/data deletion confirmations. Because these messages are necessary to protect your account security, opting out of campaign emails does not disable mandatory security alerts.
- Opt-In Operational Campaigns & Product Announcements: Release notes, scheduled infrastructure maintenance windows, and feature announcements sent only to users who have opted in.
- Scheduled Digests & Reports: User-configured weekly or monthly activity summaries and system health digests.
3. Immediate Suppression, Bounce & Complaint Handling
Unsubscribe requests submitted through the form above or via the List-Unsubscribe header in any email take effect immediately. Hard bounces, ISP spam complaints (feedback loops), and unsubscribe events from Twilio SendGrid are automatically ingested and added to our permanent suppression list so no further non-essential messages are sent to that address.
